jareba - life together (a friends & family update blog)

Dear Jeni,

Yes, I am still alive.  I have been teaching kids stuff, planning what to teach the kids, telling the school board why they shouldn’t actually close our school, keeping our house from turning into a cesspool, planning a baby shower for her, trying rather unsuccessfully to work on report cards from home, and, just because you’re a vet student and you love this sort of stuff, going to the doctor for this and this.  It’s been fun for all around here!

On the bright side, I’ve been reading interesting books, such as Jesus the One and Only by Beth Moore and The Kabul Beauty School by Deborah Rodriguez.  Good reads!  I’ve also been dragging Jamie to open houses (it’s not too hard), so perhaps in the near future I’ll post about a housing purchase.  Don’t hold your breath, though.  Getting a house with more than one bathroom and bedroom for a reasonable price, even in a “buyer’s market” is no small feat in the Seattle area.  Sure is fun to look in the meantime.
Thanks for asking!

Love,

Becky

  1. so how much houses in that area going for right now? did prices drop much because of the loan issues? i remember looking at the prices a few years ago and thinking “whoah.”

  2. Yay, thanks for replying! I love you two and miss you!

I had Pityriasis rosea when I was a kid, so you aren’t alone there. And fibroadenoma? Glad you’re ok, but it must’ve been nerve wracking waiting for the results of that biopsy!

You sound like you need a relaxing trip to scotland…
