As of today, I could start teaching in my classroom.  Well, actually, two kids would be sitting at a table instead of desks, but other than that, the room’s ready to go!  It’s a thing of beauty to turn the summer chaos into September order.  We’ll see what happens when 22 fourth-graders call it home, too.
Preparing myself is another matter.  I need to revise my plans for the first week, brush up on my Spanish, and mentally prepare to actually have a job again.  Good times.

In other news, I am very close to being able to run all the way around Greenlake, which is good because I paid $25 for the privilege of doing so on the 7th.  Actually, what I really paid for was the t-shirt.  And the ducky.
