Productive Rest
I have been all about finishing projects this break. I finished a Christmas present for Kiersten (pathetic that it took this long, really), I’m almost done with a sock, have tackled the giant pile of hand-wash only laundry, almost finished the membership process at church (just have the interview left), and now I’m going to tackle a giant stack of papers I’ve been meaning to grade.
Do I know how to vacation or what?
Oh man, the hand-wash pile is my biggest enemy. All the cute lingerie I got for my bridal shower? Yeah, most of it got worn once, then sat in a pile in the closet for 1.5 years until we moved, when I threw it out. I’m a terrible person. Now my bras and cashmere swat get done every once in a while by Matt The Incredible; otherwise, everything would get chucked in the wash.
