I got my teacher-coupon at the same time as all the other JoAnn's coupons, so a friend and I went and both got a ton of things with a ton of coupons. It was awesome! :) And now I have 500 more pages on which to scrapbook!

And I can't wait for my book order books to come too! (I just ordered them though..) Did you get bonus points from me twice? I was able to imput the coupon twice for two different book order catalogs. Yay!

If you need an outlet for all your afghan skillz, I think the perfect excuse to Jamie would be, "But our friends are sooo cold out in Scotland. They need afghans to help protect them against the uninsulated, drafty windows and the heating that only turns on at night!"

I am also eagerly awaiting book orders. :) Happy teaching!

One summer when I was probably about 5th grade, they taught the kids to knit afghan squares for a VBS craft. Then they sewed all the squares together to make quilts for the missionaries. They were rather funny looking as some of the knitting was very tight and some quite loose. But it was a fun project. I'm sure your craft class will have fun. Hope you have fun too.
