Happy Haggis Day!

I was cruising around this site where I discovered that it is Haggis Day. I thought you should know.

P.S. I heart Matt and Jeni and Nessie!

  1. a) I love that you “cruise around” that site…

    b) What the heck is a haggis?!?! Apparently, I need to eat one before I get it…

  2. It actually wasn’t “Haggis Day”, it was Robert Burns Night, where you celebrate by eating haggis, mashed turnips, and potatoes (traditional Scottish fare), and get really really drunk (traditional Scottish pastime). Usually somebody does a poor reading of one of Burns’ poems as well. :)

Bianca, I will not be the one to tell you what haggis is. Just know that I have only had the vegetarian version, which is quite tastly.

  3. Nothing says love like a minced organ meet mixed with oatmeal and cooked in the stomach of a sheep. Or so I’ve been told…
