Tomorrow is the last day of school. It’s also my last day of work (though I may get on the sub list for next year until Baby Baker makes his/her debut). I’m thrilled to be staying home with the baby, but sad to be leaving my school. I feel like I’ve learned so much this year and could be so much better at teaching next year, but I won’t get to try. Sigh.
In other news, Baby has started moving! It feels like twinges, bubbles, and flutters, and I have to remind myself that it is OUR CHILD making those feelings! I’ll try to post a belly pic soon. I must be showing, since today someone asked me how many I was having (FYI, not a good thing to say to a pregnant woman!). Nice.

Today’s theme is softball. Jamie has a softball game today, and according to one source, the baby is the size of a softball. :) (It varies from orange to apple to softball, depending on where you look.)
I had a doctor appointment (is it doctor appointment or doctor’s appointment? Discuss.) yesterday. All is well, from weight gain to heartbeat to water consumption. Kind of a boring appointment, actually. I guess I’d better get used to going in just say hi.
I went to school after my appointment and got to enjoy the talent show. The best part was a kid playing Summer Time Blues on the saxophone–I think I felt the baby move! We may have a little woodwind player on our hands!
